About Tata AIG Critical Illness Health Insurance

TATA AIG Critical Illness Policy is a fixed benefit medical insurance plan which covers major critical illnesses and medical procedures. The plan pays a lump sum benefit if the insured suffers from any of the covered illnesses or undergoes the covered procedures. The illnesses and procedures covered under the plan are complex and incur heavy expenses if the insured suffers from them. Therefore, by paying a fixed benefit the policy aims to ease the financial hardship faced by the insured in such medical contingencies.

The plan also provides the facility of the second opinion if the insured suffers from a covered illness and a claim is made. This opinion helps the insured to seek expert medical help on the illness suffered. The premiums for the plan are affordable so that individuals can easily buy the policy. Moreover, the premiums paid also help in saving tax as they are allowed as a deduction under the provisions of Section 80D of the Income Tax Act.

  • Easy buying from insurancedekh...

Purchasing health insurance plans from insurancedekho is the right thing to do as sometimes it can be confusing to choose the best health insurance plans from a pool of insurance providers and the best you can do is to rely the ones with good rating. I chose this plan because of its sum insured options and benefits
