About Reliance Health Insurance
Reliance General Health Insurance has been one of the prominent players in the insurance market since 2000. Many customers across India trust its customised health insurance plans that offer financial support and security during medical emergencies.
Be it hospitalisation expenses, critical illness treatment costs, or maternity coverage, the insurance company comes with a wide range of insurance plans for your health issues and medical concerns. Based on the health condition, customers can scroll through the online portal, compare, and choose a suitable plan as per their needs.
Key Features
Apart from the riders, customers have access to several other features under their health insurance plan, including:
- In-patient Hospitalisation: Reliance General Health Insurance covers a wide range of medical plans for various illnesses and injuries, thus offering financial security against huge medical expenses. This policy offers coverage to all the expenses the insured incurs during the hospitalisation, i.e., room rent, ICU charges, doctor consultation, and nursing fees.
- Pre and Post Hospitalisation: Any expenses that the policyholder incurred 60 days before hospitalisation or 90 days after discharge are covered under this policy.
- AYUSH Treatment: You can find a few health insurance plans that provide coverage for alternative treatments, such as Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, etc. With this policy in hand, insured individuals can access any form of treatment without stressing about their medical costs.
- Day Care Procedures:Certain treatments and surgeries do not require getting admitted to the hospital for the whole day. However, the treatment expenses can be costly in some cases. For this, some health insurance companies offer coverage even if you didn't stay overnight for your treatment, i.e., less than 24 hours. This feature is helpful in cataract surgery, chemotherapy, etc., that do not demand 24-hour hospitalisation.
- Cataract Treatment: Costs related to cataract surgery are provided coverage under this plan but up to a specific limit.
- Modern Treatments: Some health conditions require advanced medical treatments like stem cell therapy which can be costly for most individuals. Reliance General Health Insurance plan offers coverage for such new-age treatments and advanced procedures.
- Organ Donor Expenses: Provides coverage to the insured individual's surgical costs associated with organ donation.
- Domiciliary Hospitalisation: Old age people and specific patients with critical medical conditions or health issues cannot be moved to the hospital. In such cases, treatment is provided at home for the patient's safety. The health insurance plan also offers coverage for medical expenses for treatment at home in certain cases.
- Mental Illness Coverage: Coverage is provided to patients admitted to the hospital due to mental health conditions or illness.
- Annual Health Check-up: These offer annual coverage for costs related to health check-ups.
