Common Future Generali Car Insurance Claim Rejection Reasons
Future Generali has a set of specific conditions for the approval of the claim. The claim is rejected by the insurance company under the following circumstances:
- Expired car insurance policy.
- Delay made in informing the insurer about the accident.
- If the accident happened because of the breaking of traffic rules.
- Repair of the vehicle done before the inspection by the surveyor.
- Absence of valid documents with the driver at the time of the accident.
- If the driver was driving the car under the influence of intoxicants.
Future Generali No Claim Bonus
A car insurance policy is designed to benefit you by compensating your expenses, but Future Generali provides benefits for not making any claim as well by offering No Claim Bonus. It is a reward given in terms of discount to policyholders for spending a claim-free year. With this bonus, you can lower the premium cost for your car insurance plan in the next policy year. The NCB benefit starts from 20% and is accumulated with every consecutive claim-free year up to 50%, which is applicable to the premium of the own-damage section of a comprehensive car insurance policy.
To retain NCB benefit, every policyholder must renew its car insurance policy before the due date. If you fail to renew your policy before the expiry date, in such a case, the insurer allows you to renew it in the grace period of 90 days but after that, your NCB will terminate. This benefit belongs to policyholders as it is given for safe driving which results in a claim-free year. To keep your No Claim Bonus intact, you must try to avoid raising a claim. In order to achieve this, you should at least try bearing the minor claims on your own as small damage repair costs could be lesser than the accumulated NCB discount. However, you can also buy an NCB protect add-on cover to secure NCB even after making a claim.
