      People aged between 18 years and 65 years can take this policy. 

    • What is the sum insured range under this policy?

      The minimum and maximum sum insured options are of Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 5 Lakh respectively (in multiples of 50,000). 

    • Who can be covered under this policy?

      Self, Spouse, Dependent Children, Parents, Parents-in-law can be covered under this policy. 

    • Is there any cumulative bonus offered to the policyholders under this policy?

      Yes. The policyholders can enjoy a cumulative bonus of 5% for every claim-free year up to 50%.

    • Is there any discount on the premium offered under this policy?

      Yes. A loyalty discount of 5% is offered on the applicable premium for existing policyholders who have any retail policy of Universal Sompo, provided that the policy has not expired at the time of the inspection of this policy.

    • What is the maximum entry age for dependent children under this plan?

      The maximum age for dependent children is 25 years under this plan.

      Yes. You can avail cashless treatment in more than 4,000 network hospitals under this policy.

      An initial waiting period is of 30 days, whereas pre-existing diseases can be covered after 48 months of continuous coverage. Specified diseases/surgeries/treatments are covered after a waiting period of 24/48 months under this policy. 

    • Is there any limit on room rent cover under this policy?

      Yes. The policy offers cover for room rent for up to 2% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000 per day.
