Step 2: Next, enter your policy number and your Car’s Registration number/Chassis number/Engine Number to proceed further.

Step 3: Make the payment for insurance plan renewal using either your credit or debit card. Once you have made the payment, you would get a confirmation SMS or email. Later, your renewal policy documents would get emailed to you instantly.

Magma Car Insurance Policy Renewal- Offline Procedure

To renew your Magma car insurance plan via offline mode, simply call the customer care executive at 1800 266 3202 and raise a renewal request for your car insurance plan. Here, the premium can be paid either through cash or cheque. Alternatively, you can also visit the nearest branch of Magma to get your car insurance policy renewed.

What Should You Do When Your Car Insurance Policy Expires?

You can do the following when your car insurance plan expires:

  • Inform Your Agent: After your car insurance plan has expired, make sure to immediately contact your insurance agent and seek further guidance. They might be able to reinstate your lapsed insurance plan without paying any fine. However, if you get late, then even this option may get lapsed. In such a scenario, you may need to pay a high premium to activate and use the policy again.
  • Don’t Drive an Uninsured Car: You must avoid driving an uninsured car till the time the insurance plan gets activated or you buy another policy. In case you drive an uninsured car and meet with an unforeseen incident, in that case you will have to bear huge expenses involving third parties, yourself and your car.
  • Opt for an Insurance Plan: Driving a car without an insurance plan on Indian roads is illegal, thus you should get your plan renewed online immediately. Also, if you want to buy a new plan, then make a thorough comparison before making any decision.
  • Keep Your Documents Ready: Once you have decided the insurance plan that you wish to buy, contact the insurance company to check the documents and begin the process. Keep the basic documents handy like previous insurance plan copy, RC, etc.
  • Get Ready for Car Inspection: Lastly, a surveyor appointed by the insurance company would come to inspect the car to confirm whether you are eligible to purchase car insurance or not. Once the inspection process is over, go ahead and buy the insurance plan as soon as possible.
