Edelweiss Health Top-up Insurance Policy provides coverage to people aged at least 91 days for several healthcare expenses. To be the proposer for this policy, one must be aged at least 18 years. The good news is that there is no restriction on the upper age limit to be covered under this policy. The policy can be purchased on an individual or family floater basis. If purchased on an individual basis, you can include self, spouse, dependent children, parent(s), parent(s)-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent(s), grand children, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew. Whereas on a family floater basis, you can include self, legally wedded spouse, dependent parent(s), dependent parent(s)-in-law, natural or legally adopted dependent children aged between 3 months and 25 years.
Some coverage benefits that the policy offers you include AYUSH treatments, daycare treatments, in-patient hospitalisation expenses, pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses, etc. The policy can be purchased for 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years, for different sum insured options ranging between Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 5 Lakh. The policy comes in two variants namely top-up and super top-up.
