  • People of what all age groups are covered under Reliance General Health Infinity Plan?

    Reliance General Health Infinity plan covers children aged between 91 days to 25 years and adults aged between 18 years to 65 years. Note that the age is based on the number of years completed until last birthday. 

  • What are the sum insured options under the Reliance General Health Infinity Plan?

    The sum insured options under Reliance General Health Infinity include Rs. 3 lakh, Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 15 lakh, and Rs. 50 lakh, and Rs. 1 crore. 

  • What are the policy period options available under Reliance General Health Infinity Plan?

    The policy period options available under Reliance General Health Infinity Plan are 1, 2, and 3 years.

  • How many members can I include under my Reliance General Health Infinity Plan?

    You can include up to 8 members under Reliance General Health Infinity Plan. These may include 2 adults and up to 6 children.

    Reliance General Health Infinity Plan is an ideal plan as it offers the policyholders the following benefits:

  • Is there any waiting period under Reliance General Health Infinity Plan?

    Yes. The policyholders need to complete an initial waiting period of 30 days from the date of inception of the policy in order to make any claim, except in the case of an accident. However, for specific diseases and pre-existing diseases, the waiting period is 24 months and 36 months respectively.

  • Will I get a refund of the premium on policy cancellation?

    Yes. If your Reliance General Health Infinity Plan has been in force for up to 90 days, then you will get a 100% refund for the premium paid. However, if the policy has been in force for more than 90 days, then you will get the premium refund on a pro-rata basis. 

  • Does the policy offer any discount to the policyholders?

    Yes. The policyholders can enjoy the following additional discounts on purchasing Reliance General health Infinity Plan:

        • Renewal discount: 10% discount on renewal premium, on the basis of health check-up report
        • Policy term of 1/2 years: 10% discount on the premium on purchasing the policy for a term of 2 or 3 years
        • Individual policies in a family: 10% discount on premium if two or more family members opt for individual policies
        • Prime discount: One time discount of 10% on premium for those who are Reliance Group employees or repeated customers.

  • Does the policy offer restore benefit to the policyholders?

    Yes. The policy offers reinstatement of 100% of sum insured in case it is exhausted within the policy year. 

    Note that the restore sum insured can only be used for claims made in the future, if any. It cannot be used against any claim for any illness or its complications for which the claim has already been paid. 

  • What are the special treatments covered under this policy?

    Reliance General Health Infinity Plan covers the special treatments that basic health insurance plans do not cover. A co-payment of 50% is applied on this cover:

        • Less invasive robotic surgeries and those ensuring quick recoveries
        • Stem cell therapy and technologies which are about to happen in medical science
        • Correction of eyesight due to a refractive error of more than 14.0 dioptre
        • Administration of intra-lesional or intra-articular injections, monoclonal antibodies

  • Is there any co-payment clause under this policy?

    Health Infinity Policy comes with an optional feature of co-payment of 10%. It is not mandatory to buy, but you can buy it at the time of policy purchase, in order to reduce your premium amount. 

  • Is pre-policy medical check-up required for this policy?

    If you are aged above 45 years, then you will be required to undergo a pre-policy medical check-up, irrespective of the sum insured chosen. However, if you have chosen a sum insured option of Rs. 50 Lakh or Rs. 1 Crore, then you will be required to undergo a pre-policy health check-up irrespective of age.
