About Reliance Corona Kavach Health Insurance
With the Reliance General Corona Kavach Policy, you can get coverage for the treatment costs of Coronavirus (Covid-19) for you and your family members. The policy starts protecting you from the day you get diagnosed with COVID-19 infection after the completion of a nominal waiting period of 15 days. The treatment expense of this novel virus could be prolonged and very expensive, thus, to avoid the financial burden and to take care of your hospitalisation costs, this plan offers a wide variety of sum insured options ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 5 lakh, which can be availed on an individual as well as family floater basis.
The minimum and maximum entry age for this policy are 18 years and 65 years respectively, however, the plan gives coverage from the age of 1 day only. The coverage can be offered to different relationships which include self, legally wedded spouse, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law. This health cover offers you several benefits such as hospitalisation cover, home care treatment cover, AYUSH treatment, etc. The treatment of Covid-19 during hospitalisation can generate the requirement of cash on a daily basis, hence, this plan holds an add-on cover that gives you daily cash pay-out for every 24 hours of hospitalisation for a maximum up to 15 days.
