About National Critical Illness Health Insurance

The policy is available in two variants, namely Plan A and Plan B. Plan A provides cover for 11 critical illnesses whereas Plan B provides cover for up to 37 critical illnesses. The policyholders also have an option to add two more critical illnesses, namely Permanent Paralysis of Limbs and Total and Permanent Blindness. Remember, to make a claim, it is necessary for the insured individual to survive for at least 30 days after he/she has been diagnosed with a critical illness.
