    Senior citizen mediclaim policy is a good plan that offers my parents many benefits like ambulance charges, pre-hospitalisation expenses, pre hospitalisation expenses, AYUSH treatment, organ donor expenses, and post hospitalisation expenses.   • Like other senior citizen plans

    This plan has nothing new. I found that all the benefits offered under this are also covered by many other senior citizen health insurance plans in the market. I wish to have some other plan for comprehensive coverage too if i get it in nominal premium by taking the customer care executives advice.

  • Lifetime renewability offered

    I took the customer care executives advice at insurancedekho whether i should buy this plan or not. They suggested that it is a good plan with many benefits and also that the company has a good claim settlement ratio. I have made claim twice and the process was smooth enough

  • Helpful plan for ppl in old age

    I purchased senior citizen mediclaim policy for my parents. The customer care executives at insurancedekho helped me understand all the inclusions and exclusions under this plan as i didnt understand insurance terms..   • You can go for it too

    Senior citizen policy is a must have for all the senior citizens in the country. We know that in India getting treatment is really expensive and why not buy a plan that s offered on nominal premium with necessary benefits too? I brought this plan hoping that it proves to be beneficial

  • Nice plan for parents.

    Senior citizen mediclaim policy is a great plan that offers wide coverage. I have purchased this one for my parents and seem to be happy and satisfied with the coverage features they are getting at this amount. I found the premium also nominal and have no complaint from the claim settlement process too.

  • Good plan for the elderly

    The best thing about this plan is that the elderly people get to save on taxes. I have brought this plan from insurancedekho at nominal premium for my grandparents. They were really happy to have been covered under this plan that covers them for medical expenses at the golden period of their age.

  • Good plan as compared to others

    This plan covers people this 80 years of age...while many provide cover only till 60 or 65 years of age..so this is a good plan when it comes to maximum age limit. The only thing is that it does not offer cover for domiciliary hospitalisation which might be required by the insured sometimes.

  • Provides ayush treatment

    The best thing about senior citizen mediclaim policy from new india is that it offers ayush treatmnet for up to 25% of the sum insured.. I really liked this feature of this plan so chose this. Apart from this also it provides many advantages to the policyholders...

  • Pretty good plan..smooth buying experience

    From employers side, I have a health insurance policy which covers me and my family including my parents. But then I realised that policy did not provide comprehensive coverage for my parents and started looking for new one for them.     Many companies are providing senior citizen health insurance plans but after reading their reviews, I thought of giving new India assurance a try. My decision was not wrong I must say. There was a little delay in getting my policy documents but the coverage features etc and services of insurancedekho were good overall.

    Senior citizen plan by New India is a great plan for the elderly people in India. It helps them by securing their health in their golden age. The plan offers various coverage features including ambulance expenses, pre and post hospitalisation expenses, organ donor expenses, AYUSH treatment cover and so on. My grandmother has availed the treatmnet at network hospital once for which the company paid. 3 stars for their claim settlement process.

    According to me, senior Citizen mediclaim offered by New India is a must-have plan for the old people in India.
