A blanket cover for maternity expenses, the policy gives you and your family protection against medical emergencies. The maternity benefit is available provided the insured mother has continuous coverage of 36 months in the policy.

Key Features

• This policy has two plans viz: Plan A and Plan B
• Plan A has Sum Insured of Rs. 15 Lakh and Rs. 25 Lakh
• Plan B has Sum Insured of Rs. 50 Lakh and Rs. 1 Crore
• The policy can be renewed lifetime without any age restriction
• Medical checkup for people with an adverse medical history or entering the plan after 50 years of age
• Hospital cash benefits: Rs. 2,000 per day (Plan A) and Rs. 4,000 per day (Plan B)
• Maternity cover: Rs. 50,000 (Plan A) and Rs. 1 Lakh (Plan B)

Scope of Coverage

• Cover for proposer, spouse, dependent children and parents
• Cover for a newborn baby for any illness from the date of birth
• Cover for room rent, nursing expenses, ICU, fees of the surgeon, etc.
• Payment of 20% of the Sum Insured for the AYUSH treatment
• OPD cover for every block of two continuous claim free years
• Road and air ambulance cover for better medical facilities to the patient
• Cover for HIV/AIDS or other Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Eligibility

Anyone coming under the 18-65 age bracket can buy this policy. Children from 3 months to 18 years also get covered provided one of their parents is covered. Financially dependent children aged 18-25 years are also covered.

Exclusions

• Pre-existing disease until 36 months of continuous coverage
• Illnesses due to war, invasion, or act of foreign enemy
• Any Illness during the first 30 days from the policy start date
• An injury sustained due to participation in any criminal act
• Expenses on vitamins unless certified by the attending doctor
