What are the waiting periods under Navi Cure policy?
Navi Cure policy comes with the following waiting periods:
- Initial waiting period-30 days (except accidental hospitalisation and hospitalisation due to specific critical illnesses)
- Waiting period for pre-existing diseases: 2-4 years varying with plan option
- Waiting period for coverage of internal congenital anomaly-24 months
- Waiting period for named mental illness-24 months

Is there any co-payment clause under this policy?
Yes. The policy comes with a mandatory co-payment for members with entry age to the first policy as:
- 61 to 65 years-10% co-pay
- 66 to 70 years-20% co-pay above 70 yrs-30% co-pay (only for the sum insured of Rs. 2 Lakh)

What is the cover type for Navi Cure Policy?
You can buy Navi Cure Policy either on an individual basis or a family floater basis. On an individual basis, every insured individual will have a separate sum insured. Whereas on a family floater basis, one family will share a single sum insured. You can include self, legally wedded spouse, 3 dependent children, parents or parents-in-law under this policy on a family floater basis.

The Navi Cure policy covers you for the following in-patient hospitalisation expenses:
- Room rent expenses
- Nursing expenses
- Expenses related to Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Operation Theater expenses
- Fee of Anesthetist/Medical Practitioner/Specialists/Doctor
- Expenses related to drugs, medicines, and consumables
- Expenses related to blood, oxygen, surgical appliances
- Expenses related to prosthetics, and other devices and equipment if implanted internally during a surgical procedure and is recommended by the attending medical practitioner.
