  • What is the age limit to get covered under Iffco Tokio Swasthya Kavach Policy?

    People between the age group of 18 years and 65 years can get coverage under this policy. Besides, dependent children above the age of 3 months are eligible to be covered.

  • What are the relationships that can be covered under this policy?

    The Swasthya Kavach Policy provides the coverage to different relations like Self, Spouse, Dependent Children (up to the age of 23 years).  

     

  • Does Swasthya Kavach Policy by Iffco Tokio provide any discount to its policyholders?

    Ans. Yes, the plan offers discounts in different categories, such as:

    1) Existing Customers - A discount of 10% in policy premium is offered for the customers who are already holding any insurance plan of Iffco Tokio. 

    2) Group Mediclaim Discount - A discount of 10% is provided for employees who are covered under any group mediclaim policy issued by the insurer for the sum insured amount of Rs. 4 Lakh and above 

    Note: The discounts are applied on a cumulative basis, and their maximum limit is of 25%.

  • Does Swasthya Kavach Policy own any variant under it?

    Yes, the plan holds two variants under it, which are known as the Base Plan and Wider Plan. 

     

  • For how long I need to get hospitalised to seek a claim?

    You can request for the claim only after getting hospitalised for at least 24 hours. Only in the case of daycare treatment, the hospitalisation time can be less than 24 hours.

  • Does this Iffco Tokio Swasthya Kavach Policy own any co-payment feature?

    No, Iffco Tokio Swasthya Kavach Policy doesn’t acquire any co-payment option.  

  • Can Iffco Tokio cancel my health insurance plan?

    Yes, it can. But, IFFCO Tokio will not cancel your insurance policy, unless it is a case of misrepresentation, concealment of a material fact or fraudulent act of insured. 

     

  • Is there any health check-up coverage offered under the Iffco Tokio Swasthya Kavach Policy?

    Yes, the plan provides the coverage for the health check-up. However, the reimbursement can’t exceed the amount equal to 1% of the average floater sum insured during the block of 4 claim-free years.
