Do I Need a Hard Copy of the Oriental Car Insurance Policy Document?

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has introduced e-Vahan Bima to help car owners hold car insurance policies in soft copy. However, as per the Indian Motor Tariff, every car rider should carry a car insurance policy compulsorily otherwise he or she could be slapped with a fine. Therefore, the e-Vahan Bima app allows them to drive cars without holding policy documents in hard copy. The digital car insurance policy of e-Vahan Bima has a QR code consisting of complete details of the cover.
