ManipalCigna Launches Arogya Sanjeevani ManipalCigna Policy with Coronavirus Coverage Feature

ManipalCigna Health Insurance, an eminent player in the health insurance industry in India, has launched Arogya Sanjeevani ManipalCigna Policy with an aim to meet IRDAI’s guidelines for a standard health cover policy. The insurer being among one of the 29 insurers to receive the go-ahead to launch such policies.

This product of ManipalCigna is designed to ensure the quality and cashless healthcare facility is always available to people in the country, especially at times when medical expenses are soaring the sky-high.

Arogya Sanjeevani ManipalCigna Policy provides insured with an essential health cover of Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs 5 Lakh for medical treatment of illness, injuries that require inpatient hospitalisation, including for infectious disease like the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) or other similar diseases.

Besides, this newly-launched policy also covers the insured against the expenses incurred on pre-hospitalization, post-hospitalization, day-care treatments, AYUSH treatment road ambulance. Under the policy, ManipalCigna also provides benefits of no claim bonus in case of claim-free year and coverage for medical expenses if the insured undergoes a cataract surgery.

Not only this, but the insurer has also added family discounts features of 15% for covering 2 and more family members under the single individual policy. In addition, an additional Online Renewal Discount of 3% will be offered annually from first renewal onwards if the insured pays the premium through NACH or Standing Instruction (the payment is made via direct debit of a bank account or using a credit card).
