Protect Yourself From Coronavirus - Since the first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in China’s Wuhan, it has spread rapidly across the world. With nearly 5.8 million cases around the world, the coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill. This is why it becomes important to take certain precautions to ensure safety from the coronavirus.
Simple precautions can reduce your chances of being infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) while at home during the lockdown, as directed by The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, are listed below:
1. Wash Your Hands Frequently
You must wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you visit a public place. Use an alcohol-based sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol content) if soap and water are not available.
Cover all the surfaces of your hands (fingertips, palm, back, under the nails) and rub your hands until dry. Also, remind yourself constantly not to touch eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
