General Terms of the plan

1. Co-Payment
This policy is subject to Co-payment mentioned below;
For Sum Insured of Rs. 1 Lakh to 10 Lakh |
For Sum Insured of Rs. 15 Lakh to 25 Lakh |
50% of every admissible claim arising due to pre-existing diseases. Whereas 30% of each admissible claim for all claims other than that. |

2. Pre-Existing Diseases/Illness
Pre-existing diseases/illnesses are covered after 12 months of continuous coverage.
3. Pre- Acceptance of medical screening
Pre-acceptance medical screening is not necessary. But a discount of 10% is allowed if the medical records listed below are proposed for insurance:
- Stress Thallium Report
- BP Report
- Sugar (blood and urine) (Fasting/Postprandial)
- Blood urea and creatinine
- Tax Benefits
To be eligible for some relief under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, the policyholder shall pay the amount by any mode other than cash.
4. Free Look Period
At the policy inception time, the policyholder will be given15 days of time from the date the policy has been received. He/she gets this time so that the terms and conditions of the policy can be read and reviewed. He/she can even return the policy if not acceptable. The premium refund, in this case, shall be as follows:
If the insured individual has not made any claim during the free look period, the insured shall be entitled to–
A refund of the premium paid less any expenses incurred by the health insurance company on medical examination of the insured individuals. Charges for stamp duty are also included.

Where the risk has already begun and the option of return of the policy is exercised by the policyholder, a deduction towards the proportionate risk premium for a period on the cover,

Where only a part of the insurance coverage has begun, such proportionate premium commensurate with the insurance coverage during such period.
