- The benefits offered under the plan can be extended to the family members of the policyholder, as the United Super top up health plan can be bought on a family floater basis too. Insured members age should be between 18 to 80 years. Children, who are between 3 months-18 years can be covered under the policy if either one or both parents are covered simultaneously. The policy can be availed with various available sum insured options and threshold limit.
- The policy buyer will be offered coverage on maximum expenses that happens at the time of hospitalisation.
- The expenses include boarding expenses, room rent expenses, nursing expenses, amongst others.
- Expense coverage offered to the policyholder for a period of 30 days for pre-hospitalisation and for post-hospitalisation, it is for 60 days.

- Expenses incurred for aesthetic treatment, cosmetic surgery or any other related treatments.
- Expenses incurred on treatments that consist of non-allopathic drugs and medicines are not given coverage under the plan.
- Treatment expenses arising due to war injuries, involvement in any criminal activity or any other associated conditions.
- Treatment expenses for acupressure, naturopathy and other related treatments.
- Treatments expenses coverage for HIV/AIDS or any other associated illnesses.
