      Acko Corona Kavach Policy is a short-term policy that can be purchased for 3.5 months, 6.5 months, and 9.5 months. Note that the policy terms include the waiting period. 

    • Does Acko Corona Kavach Policy come with any optional cover?

      Yes. Acko General insurance policy comes with an optional cover of hospital daily cash. If opted, the benefit pays you 0.5% of the sum insured for each 24 hours of continuous hospitalisation for a maximum of 15 days in a policy period for every insured individual. 

    • What are the sum insured options available in Acko Corona Kavach Policy?

      Acko Corona Kavach Policy can be purchased for sum insured of Rs. 50,000; Rs. 1 lakh; Rs. 1.5 lakh; Rs. 2 lakh; Rs. 2.5 lakh; Rs. 3 lakh; Rs. 3.5 lakh; Rs. 4 lakh; Rs. 4.5 lakh; and Rs. 5 lakh.

      No. Acko Corona Kavach Policy does not come with lifetime renewability benefits as it is a short term policy. You can purchase a new policy in case your existing policy gets expired.

      Yes. You can avail tax benefits on the premium paid for Acko Corona Kavach Policy under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
