Table of Contents
The CoWIN website/app lets the citizens of India register themselves for vaccination against the COVID-19. Currently, there are two vaccines that are being given out, Covaxin from Bharat Biotech and Covishield from Serum Institute of India. A person must register themselves via the CoWIN website (or the Arogya Setu) to book an appointment to get vaccinated.
Both of the vaccines require two doses per person. They have to be taken after an interval of four to eight weeks. However, the CoWIN portal will not automatically schedule your appointment for the second dose of vaccination. You will have to do it yourself, keeping in mind the due date for the second dose.
