According to the news sources, Narayana Health has launched its new health insurance plan named “Aditi”. This plan offers comprehensive coverage with a sum insured of Rs 1 crore for surgeries and Rs 5 lakh for medical management at Narayana Health network hospitals.
According to Devi Prasad Shetty, this plan is designed to minimise the gap in healthcare access for the majority of people in India and to protect poor families from the burden of medical expenses by offering comprehensive coverage at an affordable price. This new plan of Narayana Health Insurance can be availed at a minimum premium amount of 10,000 annually. Only Narayana Health hospitals are currently eligible for full coverage under the plan. If an emergency arises outside of their network, coverage may be restricted.
