IDBI's Big Collaboration with Max Bupa Health Insurance Products

IDBI Bank Ltd and Max Bupa have come together under a Bancassurance Corporate Agency Agreement starting June 1, 2019. The agreement brings forth a wide range of health insurance products from the Max Bupa house to the doorstep of IDBI Bank’s 20 million customers from over 1800 branches across India.

Sharing his views on this collaboration, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, the MD and CEO of IDBI Bank, highlighted the increasing demand among consumers for the best in health insurance products. He further added that it is an excellent way of providing digitally enabled health insurance products to the Bank’s esteemed consumers.

Mr. Ashish Mehrotra, MD and CEO of Max Bupa extended his commitment to providing for a healthier and successful life for the newly extended IDBI family. Keeping the stronghold of both the companies in their individual fields in perspective, Mehrotra added that they would maintain their reputation and commitment towards their consumers as a top priority through this tie-up.

Through this agreement, IDBI consumers can enjoy pre-authorization of cashless claims within 30 minutes at various hospitals among other privileged services. Max Bupa stands to gain by expanding its presence all across the country by providing its services to the Bank’s existing clientele. Another significant step is the promotion of the Max Bupa digital platform of Infinity, which enables the consumers to purchase their products and avail the relevant documents from the Bank itself.

AnyTimeHealth or ATH machines which aim to provide health assessment and instant policies to the consumers are also planned to be placed at selected IDBI branches. These machines are technologically advanced models with automatic processing of assessments within a short time of 3 minutes.

These digital advancements from Max Bupa are sure to bring about more awareness of health insurance products among consumers of the Bank and creating a healthy world around us.
