    • What are the additional benefits offered under Global Health Secure Policy?

      Global Health Secure comes with the following additional benefits: 

      • International Second E-opinion For Major Illness: This benefit allows you to get an e-opinion from internationally available medical practitioners from the insurer’s panel
      • Visa Documentation Guidance: The insurer’s service provider will provide information related to visa documentation and guidance for overseas travel for any treatment that is medically necessary.
    • What is the age criteria to buy Global Health Secure Policy offered by Aditya Birla Health Insurance?

       Global Secure Policy covers people aged between 91 days and 65 years. Kindly note that children aged between 91 days and 5 years can be covered only if one adult is covered on a multi-individual basis. The minimum entry age is 5 years in case of an individual policy.

    • What are the waiting periods for the Global Health Secure Plan?

      Global Health Secure Policy offered by Aditya Birla Health Insurance comes with the following waiting periods: 

      • Initial waiting of 30 days. It is not applicable in case of accident or subsequent renewal
      • 2 years waiting period for specific illnesses
      • Pre-existing illness waiting period for 24 months, 36 months, and 48 months as per the time of purchase of the policy
      • Waiting period of 4 years for genetic disorders 
    • Will I be covered for in-patient expenses abroad on a cashless basis under this policy?

      The policy covers you for in-patient care outside India due to listed medical illnesses on a cashless basis.
