Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance DigiShield Riders

You can enhance the base coverage of this plan by adding these following riders:

  • ABSLI Accidental Death and Disability Rider: Under this rider, if the life assured passes away or suffers disability in an accident during the policy term he/she will be provided with a rider sum assured along with base cover amount.
  • ABSLI Critical Illness Rider: In case the life assured is diagnosed with a critical illness during the policy term, provided the policy is still in force, he/she will receive a lump sum amount if he/she survives 30 days after the critical illness is diagnosed.
  • ABSLI Surgical Care Rider: This rider offers a lump sum amount in case the life assured is hospitalized for required medical surgery in India.
  • ABSLI Accidental Death Benefit Rider: Under this rider if the life assured passes away in an accident during the policy term, provided the policy is still in force, the family members of the life assured will receive a lump sum amount along with death benefit.
  • ABSLI Waiver of Premium Rider: In case the life assured is diagnosed with critical illness or suffers a disability during the policy term, this rider will waive all future payable premiums of the base plan.

What's Not Included

  • Intentional self-inflicted injury or suicide attempt
  • Policyholder under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • The insured person committing any type of criminal offense
  • Injuries resulting from war, invasion, the act of foreign enemy
  • Death or injuries due to war, civil war, terrorist activity, etc.
