    ​Lifestyle protection plan is the best one for critical illness cover as it gives you option to choose from two of its variants. One is basic one which covers 15 critical illnesses and the other one is enhanced on wchich covers 30 critical illnesses. Insurancedekho explained me pros and cons of both and helped me decide...

  • Got family discount on this plan

    I was covered under lifestyle protection policy critical care policy on an individual basis until a few months back but have now included my family too under the same plan. The plan covers 15 critical illnesses and enhanced 30 critical illnesses. On purchasing the plan for family from Insurancedekho, I also got a discount of 10%. The best thing on purchasing this plan is that I get to save taxes on the premium amount paid for this.

    I purchased Lifestyle protection critical care plan from InsuranceDekho. All the coverage features are good, but what I didn’t like about this plan is that it comes with a waiting period of 90 days in general. I am covered under this plan since long with sum insured of Rs. 1 Lakh and have not made any claim yet under this plan. So can’t say anything about the claim settlement process.

  • What is the time limit for claim submission in the case of the cashless facility?

    You need to submit the claim within 15 days from the date of discharge from the hospital.

  • Is pre-policy medical checkup free?

    Yes, ManipalCigna bears the cost of all pre-medical tests.

  • Does ManipalCigna share medical reports if a policy is not issued?

    Yes, the medical reports are shared if you request them in writing.

  • What to do if a cashless hospital is not available at my location?

    You can choose a non-network hospital for the treatment and raise a reimbursement claim. However, you need to inform the insurance company within 24 hours of your admission in case of emergency and 3 days before in case of planned treatment.
