Cashless garages are a network of garages that have ties with HDFC Ergo. At these garages, you don’t have to pay any amount upfront. The benefits of HDFC Ergo cashless garages are given below:

  • Pick and Drop Service: You can ask for your car to be picked up or towed in case you are unable to take it to the garage.
  • Overnight Repair: If there are minor damages to be repaired, HDFC Ergo ensures to repair your car overnight.
  • Doorstep Windshield Repair: In case your windshield is damaged, HDFC Ergo provides repair at your given address.

How to Locate HDFC Ergo Network Garages

Below are steps to help you locate your nearest HDFC Ergo cashless garage:

Step 1: Go to the HDFC Ergo cashless garage page by InsuranceDekho.

Step 2: You will find a list of cities, select your city. If you can not find your city, enter its name in the search box.

Step 3: A complete list of cashless garages by HDFC Ergo will be displayed to you along with addresses and contact details. It is not necessary that the closest network garage is near your residence, so you might not have to go much farther to access it.

Claim Process at HDFC Ergo Network Garages

To get your claim at a cashless garage, follow the given process:

  • Claim Initiation: Register a claim on HDFC Ergo’s official WhatsApp number ‘7070022222’ or by calling the toll-free number 022 6234 6234. Make sure you inform the insurer immediately after the damage is caused.
  • Survey and approval: Once your claim is registered, a surveyor will inspect the vehicle. Once approved, your repair process shall begin.
  • Repairs at the network garage: The garage will start the repair work after the estimated cost is approved by the insurer. You won’t need to pay anything upfront to the garage, except the cost for any damage which is not covered in your policy.
  • Claim settlement: The repair cost will be directly paid to the garage by the insurer. This enhances the customer experience by providing a hassle-free experience.

To get your car repaired at a cashless garage, you need the following documents:

  • Policy documents
  • Claim form
  • Registration Certificate of car
  • Identity proof
  • Driving Licence
  • Copy of FIR ( if applicable)
