Scope of Coverage

• Compensation of medical expenses after submission of original bills
• 50% of sum insured or Rs. 250,000.00 whichever is less, as a lump sum amount
• Medical expenses incurred in the diagnostic investigation or medical treatment of Cancer, in excess of 75% of the benefit amount
• 5% increase in sum insured for every claim-free year. The maximum cumulative bonus cannot exceed 25% of the initial sum insured amount
• Continued benefits up to sum insured even after policy expiry up to 5 years

Eligibility

Cancer Insurance Policy provides coverage to all individuals in the age group of 1 day to 70 years.

Exclusions

• Any fraudulent or incorrect representations
• Any injury, disease or illness directly or indirectly caused or contributed by nuclear weapons, radiation or radioactivity
• Any claim where diagnostic investigation does not reveal the presence or positive existence of Cancer
• Any cancer/cancer related condition(s) for which the insured had signs or symptoms and was diagnosed and received medical advice/treatment, within 48 months prior to his/her first policy.
• The policy will not be renewed for an insured, once a claim is admitted
