  • What is the eligibility for purchasing a Care Senior plan?

    The minimum entry age under the policy is 61 years, and there is no restriction on maximum entry age.

  • Does plan covers pre-existing diseases?

    Pre-existing diseases are covered immediately after 4 years of continuous coverage under the policy since the issuance of first policy.

  • Is there requirement for pre-policy medical checkup under Care Senior?

    There is no requirement for pre-policy medical checkup.

  • Does Care Senior plan offers organ donor cover?

    Under this plan, there is coverage for organ donor of up to Rs. 50000 for sum assured of Rs. 3 Lakh and Rs. 100000 for Rs. 5 Lakh, Rs. 7 Lakh, Rs. 10 Lakh sum assured.

  • Is there any sub-limit on ICU charges under Care Senior plan?

    The ICU charges are covered up to 2% of sum insured per day.

  • What is No Claim Bonus SUPER benefit?

    This benefit offers increase in sum insured by 50% for every no-claim year up to a maximum of 150%. The increase in sum insured does not increase the sub-limits applicable to the policy. In case of a claim, the accumulated bonus is reduced by 50% of the policy sum insured.

  • Are alternative treatments covered under Care Senior policy?

    Yes, alternative treatments are covered up to Rs. 15000 for Rs. 3 Lakh sum insured and up to Rs. 20000 for Rs. 5 Lakh, Rs. 7 Lakh, Rs. 10 Lakh sum insured.

  • Is there any option for OPD cover in this policy?

    There is an optional cover of OPD Care of up to Rs. 5000 per policy year. This benefit covers doctor consultation, diagnostics and pharmacy expenses. This does not cover dental treatments, vaccinations, supplements, and preventive checkups, etc.
