Zuno provides a cashless claim facility for all its customers. The policyholders who have opted for a cashless claim facility are not required to spend anything to get their bikes repaired as their insurers will be liable to bear all their expenses. Here are the steps to make a cashless claim:

Step 1: Contact Zuno General Insurance

Contact Zuno general insurance company after the accident and share all the required and necessary details such as location, time, and so on. You can either connect with them by calling them on their toll-free number 1800-12000 or register a claim request on their official website.

Step 2: Register Claim

After the registration of the claim, a confirmation message stating the acceptance of the bike insurance claim along with a claim reference number will be sent. Afterwards, a representative can also call to guide further steps for the claim process.

Step 3: Survey and Repair

The insurance company will send a surveyor to check the extent of the damages caused to the bike during the accident. After the survey, he can ask for essential documents and will provide the policyholder with a claim form.

Step 4: Towing Service

Zuno company will arrange towing service upon request if your car could not move from the spot. It will be easier to take the damaged bike to the nearest network garage.

Step 5: Claim Settlement

After the completion of all the documentation and formalities, the insurance company will pay its part of the liability and the rest will be borne by the policyholder of the bike insurance policy.

How To Make Zuno Reimbursement Bike Insurance Claims?

If a policyholder fails to reach the network garages, he or she can take their bike or scooter to any other garage as well. To file a reimbursement claim, the policyholders should follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Zuno General Insurance

Firstly, contact Zuno using their toll-free number 1800-12000. Intimate them about the event and request them to initiate the reimbursement claim process. The claim can also be registered on the official website of the insurance company.

Step 2: Register A Claim

The Claim Department of Zuno general insurance will revert back with a unique claim reference number and give you information about all the necessary documents. Meanwhile, you should fill in all the details correctly in the claim form.

Step 3: Get Bike Surveyed

The company will send a surveyor to check the extent of damage caused to the insured bike before it is sent for repairs. In case of a major accident the general insurance companies first sends the surveyors for inspection and then it is moved to the garage.

Step 4: Repair and Reimbursement

Take the insured bike to the garage of your choice for repair and make the required payment. After that, submit all the necessary documents asked by the insurance company along with the repair bills and receipts to make the request for the reimbursement of the claim. After considering all the deductibles and depreciation amounts the insurance company finally disburses the amount to policyholders.

Zuno No Claim Bonus

Two-wheeler own-damage covers can be bought either as a standalone damage insurance cover or as part of a comprehensive two-wheeler insurance plan. For every claim-free year with an own-damage cover, insurance providers give their customers a token reward called the No Claim Bonus. This is a cumulative reward and becomes higher with every consecutive claim-free year, reaching a maximum of 50% in the fifth year. However, disabling the No claim Bonus occurs whenever the policyholder files a claim, no matter how minor the insurance claim amount is. Hence, it is advisable to refrain from filing a two-wheeler insurance claim unless the damage from the mishap is extensive and higher than the NCB amount.

Additionally, to keep the accumulated NCB intact the insurance holder also has to maintain the renewal of the two-wheeler insurance on a timely basis. Failure to do so can lead to the No Claim Bonus being disabled. It is easy for us to forget renewal dates with our busy schedules hence, insurance providers give their customers a grace period of 90 days after the expiry date of the policy to renew it. But if there are any delays after this period the insurance company will be forced to cancel your insurance policy and the accumulated NCB with it. IF you want to sell your two-wheeler and purchase a new one or shift to a different insurance provider do not fear losing the NCB, it is transferable in such cases.
