    How To Make Ageas Federal Term Insurance Claim Online?

    Ageas Federal Life Insurance does not have any online claim settlement process. However, the nominee/claimant can download the claim forms online. The death claim is registered on the receipt of the written information and the documents listed above at the head office.

    How To Make Ageas Federal Term Insurance Claim Offline?

    The three-step procedure is a customer-friendly one. The first step is to register the claim. It involves downloading the claim form from the internet or visiting the local branch and completing it in all respects. The nominee/claimant has to submit the necessary documents as listed out above. On receiving the documents, Ageas Federal Life Insurance processes them. If the documents are in order, the claim settlement process is over within eight working days. If the company feels the need for more investigation, it will inform the same. The claim settlement is the final step in this process. Ageas Federal Life Insurance credits the claim amount to the bank account of the nominee/claimant through EFT. In the case of failure of EFT, the proceeds are dispatched by cheque to the nominee’s mailing address.

    • Death Claim Form
    • Original Insurance Policy Document
    • Original/attested copy of the death certificate
    • Attested copy of the nominee’s photo ID and residence proof
    • Medical records at the time of death along with the documents related to the past illness
    • Physician’s statement stating the cause of death
    • Employer’s certificate in case the insured person was employed
    • Cancelled cheque leaf of the nominee’s bank account
    • Any other document as required by Ageas Federal Life Insurance
