Validity Of Driving Licenses And Vehicle Insurance Extended Again

Earlier in the year, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had extended the validity of both driving license and vehicle insurance for a few months. Recently that date was extended yet again till December 30th, 2020.

Why was the Date Extended?

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, this decision for extending the date was done to help people who are facing difficulties due to the circumstances brought by the pandemic. They have also asked the states to apply the same in their regions. All this has been done in the hope of sparing common people difficulties at such times. The essential workers especially require this so their work can go on without any inconveniences.
