How to Update an Aadhaar Card Online?

There may be circumstances when you relocate to a new city and forget to update your current address on your aadhaar card. However, remember that it is very important to update your aadhaar card with the current details. Here is how you can do the same:

• Go to the official website of UIDAI
• Then, go to ‘update aadhaar details’ option and enter the 12-digit aadhaar card number
• You will receive an OTP on your mobile number which you need to enter
• You then need to click on the detail that you want to get updated such as an address, mobile number, and other details. You must make sure that all the details entered by you are correct. In case you are getting your address updated, you might also have to submit a scanned copy of your new address proof.
• Then, click on update option after which you will also be provided with estimated time in which your aadhaar card details will be updated.
